I have been tagged!

Yes, lovely readers, I have been tagged! Which has led me to actually post on my sad, forgotten, lonesome blog. Which will hopefully lead me to post on things actually related to Polyvore!
So I was tagged by the fabulous lovlierlala! Go read her blog because it is totally amazing, and also because I said so and I am the ultimate authority on such matters.
Oh look I was tagged!

7 Random and/or Weird Facts About Myself
1. When I was 6 or 7, I deeply wanted to be Alice, the housekeeper from The Brady Bunch. Yes, I was cool enough to watch that when I was 7. I would walk around the house in an apron and run the vacuum cleaner, insisting that my family call me Alice. My mom loved the fact that I would willingly clean the house, however she wasn’t quite so keen on my obsession with the old housekeeper.
2. I have this odd thing with my jaw where I can “pop” it. It has something to do with the fact that when I was little, I would grind my teeth while I slept, which eventually wore down my jaw. There’s really nothing they can do about it, but my mom had the same thing and eventually grew out of it, so I can hope the same happens for me! (And I’m sure you all really wanted to hear about that, sorry.)
3. I am left handed. I have heard that it means I am more creative, and I have also heard that it means I will die 9 years earlier than others. (However, my English teacher last year told me I don’t have to worry about that since I laugh so much, I’ll probably end up living forever.)
4. On that note, I laugh at almost everything! A bunch of people have asked me why I’m so happy all the time, but I really don’t know. I guess I’m an optimist, and I live life to have fun. :]
5. I just realized I haven’t painted my nails in months.
6. I have developed a scary obsession with my mango obsession. Not as scary as my “Alice” obsession, though.
7. And the most random thing I have in my purse right now is a rainbow headband that snapped in half today. :[ RIP, lovely rainbow headband. I spent all day wondering why it seemed so square-shaped on my head, when I finally realized that it was because it was bent in the middle. As if on cue, SNAP, the headband broke, and I dropped it into my purse because I didn’t want to deal with it.

Hmm. I tag supersam! ;D And also anyone else who wants to do this, because I’m tired right now and too lazy to find someone else to tag. πŸ˜€

Now I shall go off in search of a book I know I don’t have in an attempt to do my reading homework. Adios, however-you-say-blog-readers-in-Spanish!

really, really cool bangles

A few minutes ago I realized that the last time my blog had a real update I was still traveling on all fours and sucking my thumb, so I decided to search for something interesting to update it with. After about 10 minutes, I gave up, because I stayed up until 4 AM or something equally ridiculous with my friends last night and my mind has been going off track a lot today. ;D
So I minimized the post for around an hour, in hopes that maybe I would stumble upon the perfect theme.
And by golly, I did! (Imagine that in a hillbilly accent, said by a girl wearing a bald cap and flannel shirt with a fake black eye caked on her face with makeup. It’s a long story.)
I found these lovely bangles! They’re just the right amount of ‘different’ to spice up a normal outfit. And they’re pretty popular, so I shouldn’t have any trouble finding sets that have used them.
As usual, sets you don’t want on the blog will be taken down while I cry and weep.

This one is lovely and pink and purple and has an eye. Which is cool.

N I N Aβ„’___________β™₯

This one has two eyes, but they aren’t staring at you TOO much, so they aren’t creepy.

And then there’s this postage-stamped one, which I really love.

A lot of these have eyes… cool eyes.

monkeyonice679 wants peace
(Speaking of starving… I need to get fooooooooooooooooooood.)

So there’s some fantabulous sets for you to look at. If anyone has any ideas on themes for the blog, just drop me a comment here or a message on Polyvore and I will definitely consider it. I’m not too great at thinking of stuff like this on my own. πŸ˜›
Also, any ideas for features (like Wednesday Weview on kneesock’s blog) will be considered, too. I’d really like to update more, but I’m sort of lacking inspiration right now!

Well I should go get some grub, this is the end. ;P

Great news!

I was featured on Kneesock’s lovely blog! Thank you kneesock, you are fabulous!

Also, I won 11th place in the “What to Wear to the Beach” contest with this set! Congratulations to everyone who won, and also everyone who entered, for making this such a great contest!

I’m going to do a (real) post either later today or sometime tomorrow, I promise! I’ve been a bag blogger. ;P

Cool printed tights and stockings and such.

Before I start blabbering on, a big thank you to Creativegirl15 for giving me the idea for this post.
Alrighty so she suggested that I do a post on cool printed tights and such (among other ideas, which I will most likely use soon!). So I am.
As always, if your set is featured here and you wish it wasn’t, just tell me and I will take it down. While crying, sobbing, etc.

Okay so uh first are these super fantastic flowery tights.

And then there are these fabulous pink leopard print tights that I just love.

Of course I have to feature these awesome comic book print tights!

Dinosaur print socks are just amazing!

Ooooh, these hedgehog socks are so cool! I’m having too much fun doing this. xD

Interesting sunglasses

You know what I want? I want some fabulously interesting sunglasses. Like heart shaped or star shaped or something. I would wear them to the grocery store and strut around in them like I owned the place.
Except I think a lot of people think I own the place already, I tend to hang out there a lot. By the indoor plants. Life is good. πŸ˜›
Anyways, since I am obviously so caught up in interesting sunglasses, I decided to go on a big search for amazing sets with them. And I found some and I am featuring them. If your set is here and you would rather it not be, just tell me and I will cry and weep and then take it down. πŸ˜€

Heart shaped

Creativegirl15 pairs them with bold colors and some rockin’ boots!

Madelaine takes some in red and blue and keeps the colors throughout the whole outfit.

Lalalalolita uses adorable pink sunglasses and makes an even more adorable outfit!

Star shaped

EtchaSketchinLola creates a stunningly colorful and fun set!

Shutter shades

Δ…ΠΌΔ…19-Ξ΅Ρ—Π· makes a nerdy-gangsta-fab look.

BIG.BLUE.EYES.: great primary colors!

(Help me, my comment/description thingies are beginning to suck!)

And I found these super-cool shades but there weren’t any sets with them (that I could find), so I made a super-gangsta one of my own. πŸ˜›

Sci-fi shades

(I’m giving up on my decription thingies. :P)

And that concludes my second post. πŸ˜›

Shirts with faces

So recently I’ve been falling in love with shirts with faces on them. They can make an outfit look cute and sweet and fun and all that. So, uh, here’s some examples!

Phillip Lim Oops Face T-shirt

This adorable set by HarmonyxPeacexFreedomxAmour keeps the cuteness of the t-shirt while adding some extra edge with the suspenders and skull-print scarf.

Cocasioncreme adds tons of cute accessories.

Phillip Lim Happy Face T-shirt

Black dahlia gives this shirt a punk rock, completely fabulous edge.

While I… well I don’t know what I did to it. πŸ˜› But I like the shiny vest!

Topshop Smiley Face Oversized Tee

FashionBlondie adds childish (but really cute!) accessories.

This great set by Ketska gives it a more grown-up, stylish look.

Moschino Cheap and Chic Face Print T-shirt

A slightly androgynous look by Ducktape.

Luxie makes a fantastic black and white set.

Lanvin Tee Face w/ Bow

Flirty and casual look by EtchaSketchinLola, who is completely fab. πŸ˜€

The amazing stylebubble makes a feminine and cutesy look for this shirt.

A chic and sophisticated look is created by sourcat.

Sonia by Sonia Rykiel Printed Face T-shirt

I really love this casual and cool look by F A S H I O N!

Thanks to everyone fabulous for making such perfect sets!
So I’m getting a bit tired of browsing through all these lovely sets. I hope you enjoyed my first (hopefully not too shabby!) post. Expect more soon, because I have no life and I like to write, which makes for a very active blogger. πŸ˜€
